Ms Kelly Kontou got her psychology degree in 2007 at the National University of Athens. In 2007-2016 she was trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with subspecialisation in psychotherapy of teams, families and couples.
In 2010 Ms Kontou completed her Msc in Mental Health Studies at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, London. She has attended numerous courses and conferences. She has a private practice where she works as a psychologist/psychotherapist.
Ms Kelly Kontou speaks Greek and English and she works with couples from Greece and abroad, who undergo an IVF treatment and are in need of psychological support. She also follows up on surrogate mothers throughout their pregnancy to ensure they get all the support they need.
Ms Kontou is there to assist our patients as they deal with a whole array of feelings, including disappointment, anxiety, fear, jealousy or anger (in cases of failed IVF). Our patients can always depend on Ms Kontou to guide them through the processes of egg donation or surrogacy. The same applies to pregnant women are battling depression or endometriosis patients who suffer from chronic pain.
